Kate Moss will release her a/w 09 collection for Topshop and Lara Stone will be Not Just A Label´s online shop curator of September, selecting and presenting pieces from NJAL´s exciting designers.
Not Just A label is a leading global business directory for showcasing avant-garde fashion designers of today and nurture tomorrow´s fashion.
They matches demand and supply individuality, creativity, diversity and talent by providing a free tool which makes it available for up and coming designers to showcase and present themselves among their collections. This is a unique way for the industry participants and fashionistas to get an idea of what tomorrow´s fashion will be like, in many cases the collections that been showcased online have led to recruitment.
This year NJAL´s THE SHOP will have a bigger a/ w collection than normal. For the first time designers will be able to sell directly to customers. The lookbooks will turn into individual online stores which makes it possible to sell to customers from five continents. That´s what I call nurturing!!!
And this is where Lara Stone , Dutch model, famous for her gapped teeth, voluptuous figure and large lips, recently named "the most wanted face" by W magazine plays her part. She will be THE SHOP´s curator and her selection, chosen from the hundreds of lookbooks, will be available tomorrow.
